About the app
Car Logger keeps track of what your cars actually cost you, and how much fuel they actually use. Add your cars, log every fill-up and expense against them, and the app works the rest out. No subscription, no ads.
⛽ Fuel Economy, Worked Out Properly: Consumption is measured full tank to full tank, the only method that gives a real figure rather than an estimate. Partial fills extend a measurement instead of breaking it, a missed fill-up skips only that tank, averages are distance-weighted and bi-fuel cars get a separate figure per fuel. Every figure is rated against your own recent history and against the manufacturer’s figure for your car.
🧾 Log Whatever the Car Costs You: Fuel, servicing, repairs, tyres, oil, insurance, road tax, vignettes, leasing, parking, tolls, ferries, car washes, fines and more, plus odometer-only entries. The fill-up form fills in whichever of volume, price and total you did not type. Attach a receipt photo to any expense.
📊 Statistics You Can Browse: Day, week, month or year, with arrows to page through your history. Total spend, spend per category, distance, fuel used, average pump price, cost per kilometre and how each compares with the period before, with charts for all of it.
💡 Insights: Which station is actually cheapest and what the difference has cost you, whether the dearer fuel grade earns its premium back, and what the car costs per day and per kilometre.
⏰ Reminders: Insurance, road tax and vignette renewals from the dates you already entered, plus service schedules you set yourself: every 15 000 km, every 12 months, or whichever comes first.
🚗 Built for More Than One Car: A garage with as many cars as you like, each with its own make, model, fuel type, tank capacity, engine and official consumption figure. Archive the ones you no longer own without losing their history.
🌍 Your Units, Your Currency: Kilometres or miles, litres or gallons, L/100km, km/L or MPG, and any currency. Paying abroad? Record the pump amount in its own currency and what your bank actually charged you.
☁️ Backed Up to Your Own Drive: Sign in with Google and the app keeps a backup in a private folder in your own Google Drive. Change phones, sign in, and your data comes back. Signing in is optional.
